RATES
1. The rates include: Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) , Theft Protection (TP), Airport Service charge (ASC) - with the exception of Athens A/R, Third party insurance, Fire protection and VAT. CDW does not cover the first € 650 for groups A B C , € 750 for groups D K T U & € 1,100 for group Y , of each accident. Third party insurance covers up to €100.000 for damages to property and up to €500.000 for death or injury. Any change in VAT or local tax as well as any substantial increase of insurance costs will affect the rates quoted.
2. Any rental beginning in Low Season and ending in High or vice versa will be charged prorata. Voucher should specify what the rates sold to the customer include. Any unused portion of the voucher is non-refundable
ΟPTIONAL INSURANCES AND CHARGES
The following additional insurances and charges are optional and may be purchased locally at the following daily rates, plus VAT:
1- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): 6 €
2- Additional Driver(s) : 3€
3- Theft Protection (TP): A, B, C 6€ D, F, K, T, U 9€ / Y 12€
4- Super CDW (SCDW): The renter may reduce the CDW liability, to €70,00 for groups A,B,C by paying €7, to €150 for groups D,F,K,T,U by paying €9 and to €200,00 for group Y by paying €15
5- Liability Insurance Supplement LIS: A, B, C, D, F, K, T, U €4 / Y, €5
EXTRA CHARGES
6- Traffic fines are paid by the renter locally.
7- Baby seats will be charged 4€ daily plus VAT (on request).
8- Snow chains will be charged 3€ daily plus VAT (on request).
9- Roof racks will be charged 6€ daily plus VAT (on request).
10- Refueling Service Charge: 18€ paid locally plus VAT.
11- Deliveries and/or collections on request. Minimum charge 14€ plus VAT.
12- There is a 29 minutes grace period. After grace period has expired, customer will be charged a full day (24 hours rental).
13- Night deliveries / collection are charged 23€ plus vat (office hours 08:00 - 21:00 daily, at all year round)
DRIVER'S QUALIFICATIONS
14- Minimum age for group A, B, C 21 years. For bigger groups 25 years.
15- Valid driving license held for at least a year.
16- All drivers must be Credit Card holders or else a deposit of €650 for groups A,B,C, €750 for groups D,F, K,T,U,and €1,100 for group Y, is required as a guarantee to cover petrol, any accident cost, etc.
GASOLINE POLICY
17- The car will be supplied, with a full tank of petrol. For rental periods over 3 days, the cost of the petrol will be prepaid by the customer at the beginning of the rental. When the vehicle is returned, the customer may ask to be refunded the cost of any remaining petrol, but he will be charged with "Refueling Service Charge", in case the returned quantity of petrol is less than the prepaid one. For 1 or 2 days rentals the customer will not be asked to prepay the cost of petrol, but if car is returned with less petrol than the quantity that it was delivered with, then he will be asked to pay the dιfference, plus the refuelling service charge. The "Refueling Service Charge" today is 18€ plus VAT, and HERTZ reserves the right to change it in the future. All petrol refunds, disputes, etc should be resolved with HERTZ staff upon return of the vehicle.
CANCELATION
18- For groups A, B, C and D cancellation of a reservation in high season & Peak season is free of charge only 72 hours prior to rental. In cases of failure to either cancel in due time or to pick up the vehicle, a cancellation fee equal to 15% of the total amount of the rental will be charged. For larger groups, cancellation of a reservation in high & low season is free of charge only 5 days prior to the rental. In cases of failture to either in due time or to pick up the vehicle, a cancellation fee equal to 15% of the total amount of the rental will be charged.
